Compliance Specialist

Soleil accelerates growth and improves profitability with sales, marketing, operations and strategic management expertise. We have completed two acquisitions to date: Loving Tan and Coco & Eve.

Loving Tan is the category leader in prestige tanning, delivering the most natural-looking tan. This is a remote, independent contractor position. The candidate must be available to work in alignment with the Singapore timezone. We welcome applicants from anywhere in the world.

Responsibilities

• Product Compliance
  
• Working alongside Brand and Product Development to ensure compliance of all new and existing products with global legislative requirements (FDA, EC, HSA, etc.)
• Complete the registration of all new products/categories when the same is not covered by external regulatory partners.
• Liaise with nominated regulatory agencies and manufacturers to overcome compliance issues and suggest corrective measures.
• Assist with the substantiation of product claims, conduct own research and support Marketing and Brand providing adequate evidence.
• Support the Product teams in quality-related matters should the adherence to international standards and overall product compliance be at risk.

• Business Development Compliance
  
• Provide direction and oversee regulatory requirements to enter new markets.
• Provide direction and oversee requirements to enter new channels.
• Evaluate the compliance requirements submitted by new Retailers and act as main point of contact until registration is completed.

• Vendor Management
  
• Support the Operations Director in screening new suppliers and conduct due diligence before onboarding commences.
• Define the minimum requirements for factories compliance (CSR), ensure conformity and lead the implementation of a continuous improvement plan (road map to sustainability).
• Support Legal and Quality in conveying respective requirements to trading partners and manufacturers.
• Work with nominated regulatory partners to build a global compliance matrix pertinent to Soleil Collective current and future product categories and main markets of distribution.
