Job summary

Zuellig Pharma is seeking a Compliance Lead in Jakarta Pusat to oversee all regulatory and compliance activities across the organization. You will champion a culture of compliance, stay abreast of evolving regulations, and prevent policy violations in sales and engagement with healthcare professionals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience leading compliance in pharma, with strong regulatory knowledge and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Head of Compliance or Compliance Lead in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in compliance management, preferably in a regional or cluster role.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance regulations, laws, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated experience working with regulatory authorities and navigating complex compliance requirements.
• Proven track record in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs.
• Experience in conducting compliance training and driving awareness initiatives among employees.
• Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks and mitigation strategies within a compliance context.

Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role:

The Compliance Lead oversees all compliance and regulatory activities, with the primary goal of ensuring strict adherence to pharmaceutical standards and regulations. This role is vital for aligning sales practices with corporate policies and guidelines. The Compliance Lead is responsible for staying abreast of current regulatory requirements, championing a culture of compliance, and preventing ZP policy violations, such as inappropriate gifting or offering benefits to healthcare professionals.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure rigorous complianceand regulatory adherence, measured by the absence of compliance violations and regulatory penalties.
• Oversee and manage workflowseffectively to guarantee compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements, as evaluated through internal audits and continuous monitoring.
• Maintain budget adherenceand optimize the allocation of resources for compliance initiatives, ensuring allocated budgets align with planned activities for successful program execution.
• Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teamsto drive compliance and regulatory efforts across the organization, securing alignment with relevant stakeholders' compliance objectives.
• Provide strategic guidanceand support to ensure sales activities align seamlessly with established compliance standards through regular training, policy enforcement, and continuous feedback.
• Monitor healthcare professional (HCP) engagementsto prevent activities that violate ZP's policies and regulations, demonstrated through consistent reporting and zero compliance breaches.

What Will Make You Successful:

Must-Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Head of Compliance or Compliance Lead in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in compliance management, preferably in a regional or cluster role.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance regulations, laws, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated experience working with regulatory authorities and navigating complex compliance requirements.
• Proven track record in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs.

• Deep understanding of the Indonesian regulatory landscape, including BPOM regulations and local anti-bribery laws.

• Experience with digital compliance tools, including the digitalization of compliance workflows or managing automated tracking and reporting systems.
