Job description

Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of ethics and compliance policies and frameworks within designated corporate or business units. This role involves leading compliance-related initiatives aligned with the broader ethics and compliance strategy, ensuring adherence to relevant legal, regulatory, and internal standards. The position plays a key role in promoting ethical practices and managing compliance risks effectively.

Qualifications Required:

  • A bachelor’s or advanced degree in law from a globally recognised university.
  • Professional certification in ethics and compliance, such as the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or equivalent, is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in senior roles focusing on ethics, compliance, or regulatory enforcement.
  • Prior experience in a high-performing international organization, or cross-industry experience in the UK or US markets, is strongly preferred.
  • Additional relevant experience will be considered an asset.

Expertise and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of operations and business activities across multiple sectors.
  • Strong background in ethics and compliance methodologies, with the capability to apply best practices in designing and managing compliance initiatives tailored to specific business contexts.
  • In-depth knowledge of both domestic and international legal frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels across the organization on compliance-related topics.
