Job summary

A leading digital asset exchange in Jakarta is seeking a Payroll Consultant to manage compensation structures and employee benefits. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 5 years of relevant experience in payroll and compliance. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Indonesian labor laws are essential for this role. You'll collaborate closely with HR and finance teams to design competitive pay strategies and ensure all practices comply with legal obligations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in payroll/compensation & benefits.
  • At least 2 years in a national/regional scope.
  • Experience with compliance audits is preferred.

  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive pay and benefits.
  • Ensure legal compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and leadership teams on compensation strategy.
  • Analyze data related to compensation and benefits to make informed decisions.
  • Educate employees on benefits programs and support open enrollment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll/compensation & benefits.
  • At least 2 years as a Payroll Consultant or handling national/regional scope.
  • Experienced with HRIS systems, especially Talenta.
  • Strong knowledge of PPh 21, BPJS, and Indonesian labor law.
  • Advanced Excel skills and payroll analysis tools.
  • Highly detail-oriented and discreet with sensitive data.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent, with proven process leadership experience.
  • Experience with data analysis, benchmarking tools (e.g., Mercer, etc), and compliance audits is often required. (preferred)
