About the job: Compensation & Benefit Management - Sr Analyst, Compensation Planning & Analysis

This role involves conducting salary and total cash reviews and analysis, acting as the primary analyst for salary surveys to provide accurate insights to supervisors and HR management, and recommending improvements to current practices.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the primary analyst for external company salary surveys, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to PTFI Sr. Management through coordination with external parties (consultants, Big 4 firms, etc.).
  • Supporting annual salary and bonus reviews and payments, ensuring timely processing of payroll matters.
  • Studying company compensation practices and industry best practices to ensure the company's compensation program aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Preparing and calculating new salaries for promoted employees and communicating these through employee letters via the Employee Self Service (ESS) web platform.
  • Providing total cash information required for US/Nola payroll for planned secondment employees, monitoring the secondment database, informing relevant parties, and reviewing salaries upon return from secondment.
  • Preparing and calculating completion bonus payments for PTFI and partners, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Calculating outstanding compensation for terminated or resigned employees to ensure accuracy.
  • Reviewing and calculating monthly incentives for PBA/Smelter employees and communicating achievements via interoffice memos.
  • Recommending improvements to PTFI's compensation policies and procedures to address adverse practices and trends, aiming for more efficient and fair practices.

Key challenges include:

Ensuring salary reviews and analyses, including salary surveys, are conducted accurately, effectively, efficiently, and timely, with meaningful results to inform compensation strategies.

Minimum qualifications:

S1 degree in Science, Engineering, or Accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in Compensation Management.
