Job Description

The Commissioning Support Manager will lead and manage the GC commissioning and electrical installation teams, collaborate with the client team, and add value to the total organization. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with all parties and develop good, positive relationships with all teams involved in the commissioning delivery process.

The Commissioning Support Manager should be able to demonstrate mentoring and motivational skills, chair and control meetings, and have strong report writing skills, good attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the complete commissioning process
  • Ensuring the GC, Subs, and the commissioning authority are properly on-boarded
  • Reviewing the GC commissioning Schedule and Plan
  • Reviewing the GC MSRA and Test scripts
  • Ensuring the commissioning plan of record is being followed
  • Driving the engagement process of the ACxMS (NEXUS) through GC and providing necessary training arrangements
  • Auditing the ACxMS on a regular basis to verify the system is being used and complies with the commissioning plan of record
  • Identifying scope/responsibility matrix required for proper execution of commissioning plan
  • Conducting a review meeting with the project team when the site safety plan is issued
  • Reviewing GC performance, work done, and their collaboration with the project team
  • Auditing the project to ensure adherence to the commissioning plan of record and providing feedback

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical
  • Above 10 years of experience in site-based project management, with data center experience
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems
  • Experience with quality assurance and safety protocols
  • Good command of English
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
