Overview

As Commercial Staff play a key role in managing and coordinating all aspects of commercial documentation and vessel operations. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all operational activities are executed smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with the terms of relevant contracts and agreements.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure and verify the accuracy of the daily job forecast, including vessel arrival schedules, barge line-ups, and loading/unloading activities.
• Maintain strong business relationships with customers and provide daily operational reports related to vessel activities.
• Ensure the availability and validity of contracts prior to the commencement of operational activities.
• Verify the completeness of all documents before and after loading/unloading operations (e.g., contracts, SPK, SOF, cargo manifest, DS, and IMPT invoices).
• Calculate and verify demurrage/despatch charges based on laytime/time sheet calculations.
• Review and verify vendor invoices and payment requests to ensure accuracy before processing.
• Prepare and ensure timely submission of monthly commercial reports.
