The role will be Bunge’s point person for Indonesia to manage the country commercial operations for multiple value chains and be responsible for managing diverse sets of local stakeholders, customers and local team. The role will be primarily accountable for developing & executing Indonesia commercial plans in the CNF and FOT segments, develop in-country local distribution, manage direct customers, pipeline execution management, FOT operations and be the point person for local market intelligence and SND updates. The role will actively partner with freight, logistics, trade execution and other functions like TSF, FRM & Sustainability to create added value solutions opportunities Bunge.

Job Responsibilities

• Build local customer access in Indonesia for meal, corn and feed ingredients. Directly manage allocated customer accounts for complete sales cycle from enquiry to execution.
• Work closely with the value chains for executing the sales & distribution plans, customer pricing and other merchandising & executions functions.
• Be accountable for building deeper customer connectivity and relationship with targeted customers.
• Build collaborative network with local competition and customers for cargo swapping for building vessel efficiencies, port rotation and vessel upsizing etc.
• Develop and execute local distribution plans in the main & outports.
• End to end develop & execute the programs with all stakeholders for 100% compliance to Bunge governance policies.
• Build collaborative network with local partners, warehouses, stevedores for effectively executing the FOT program at most cost-effective manner.
• Manage all commercial aspects of local positions in close alignment with the respective value chains.
• Business development of newflows.
• Work closely with the TFS and FRM to build value added services portfolio.
• Work closely with credit team for building insured credit portfolio for CNF and FOT customers.
• Build & manage local execution with the focus on growing local talent for expanding the business activities through local office

Job Requirement

• Minimum 10 years of working experience in the Agri commodity industry, preferably in Grains/Meal marketing in Indonesia
• Good knowledge and understanding of the commodity physical flow and futures
• Good knowledge & insights into the corn & meal industry and its supply and demand dynamics
• Strong and effective communication skills
• Have strong inter-personal skills, analytical and conceptual skills
