A leading consumer goods firm in Jakarta is seeking a Finance Specialist to develop a deep understanding of offline channel operations, track sales data, and analyze key financial metrics. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of finance experience in the FMCG industry and strong analytical skills. Competitive compensation is offered along with opportunities for career growth.
Develop a deep understanding of Indonesia’s offline channel operations, including Modern Trade (MT), General Trade (GT), wholesale, and distributors. Accurately calculate and track sales data, and provide strategic recommendations to Sales and Marketing teams based on financial insights.
Monitor variances between actual results and budget; analyze changes in key metrics such as sales volume, pricing, expenses, and profitability, and drive corrective actions. Control channel spending and provide timely alerts from a financial perspective.
Review and assess the ROI (Return on Investment) and financial impact of trade promotions, rebates, display fees, and marketing activities.
Monitor distributor purchases, sell-out performance, and inventory levels to prevent overstocking and abnormal returns. Analyze channel pricing structures, discount policies, and their impact on gross margins.
Ensure that financial processes and promotional activities comply with Indonesian regulations and the company’s internal control policies.
Monitor and calculate offline channel pricing systems and profit-sharing mechanisms to ensure that promotional strategies remain reasonable and controllable.
