Summary

The Commercial Excellence Manager drives commercial and business excellence through design, planning, and implementation of commercial processes and initiatives to maximize top and bottom-line results in Indonesia. This role owns the Country/Region Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, driving standardized processes and tools to enable commercial performance excellence in sales revenue and margin. It guides, monitors, analyzes, and provides expertise on business integration and alignment. Success is measured by achievement of sales and margin goals, forecast accuracy, adoption of commercial cadence, and program management effectiveness.

Major Accountabilities
  • Ownership of the Country/Region Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews process. Reporting on changes in business and market dynamics, developing contingency plans, and ensuring timely communication of decisions and actions.
  • Drive forecast accuracy for sales revenue and instrument demand/placements.
  • Champion the implementation and adoption of the commercial cadence and customer business reviews across territories by coaching Front-Line Sales Managers. Track and analyze sales performance to drive accountability and identify best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of long-term go-to-market strategies for key commercial markets, and strengthen Commercial Excellence Systems, Processes, and Analytics, acting as a partner between countries, regions, and global teams.
  • Drive value creation and revenue expansion activities by ensuring effective regional program implementation. Manage initiatives to enable sales growth and gross margin improvement.
  • Ensure alignment and effective application of sales processes and tools for both Enterprise Sales and Customer Experience teams.
  • Own the annual rollout of global incentive plans and country-specific sales performance incentive funds (SPIFs), managing related tools and calculations.
Key Relationships
  • Key member of the Indonesia regional leadership team.
  • Solid reporting line to the Director, Commercial Excellence – Asia Pacific, with a dotted line to the Managing Director – Indonesia.
  • Collaborate with East Asia and APAC Finance, Marketing, Service leaders, and Country GMs to ensure alignment with commercial cadence and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree; MBA in Business (finance, marketing, strategy, analytics, operations) preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in FP&A, Commercial Excellence, or Commercial Operations roles, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, biotech, medical devices, or pharma industries.
  • Proven expertise in collaborating with senior business leadership at country and regional levels.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Prior team management experience.
  • Ability to influence change through analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience in data analysis, evaluation, and reporting to senior leadership.
