PT Kokoh Semesta seeks a Coating Inspector to ensure compliance with project specs, ITPs, procedures, and industry standards. You will inspect surface prep, monitor environmental conditions, and verify WFT/DFT measurements to guarantee coating quality.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 2 years’ experience in EPC/Oil & Gas or related sectors, and a valid Level 2 coating inspection certification (NACE/AMPP/ICorr/FROSIO).
Perform coating inspection in accordance with project specifications, ITP, procedures, and applicable standards.
Inspect surface preparation and ensure surface cleanliness and profile meet specified requirements.
Monitor environmental conditions before and during coating application, including temperature, humidity and dew point.
Perform WFT (Wet Film Thickness) and DFT (Dry Film Thickness) measurements as required.
Verify coating materials, mixing, and recoat intervals comply with project specifications.
Prepare and maintain coating inspection reports, Daily reports, and NCR.
Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project teams to maintain coating quality standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree (S1) in Engineering or Any Related Major.
Minimum 2 years of experience as Coating Inspector in EPC, Oil & Gas, Power Plant, Fabrication, or Construction Projects.
Must hold valid NACE/AMPP/ICorr/FROSIO Coating Inspector Level 2.
Experienced in surface preparation inspection, environmental condition monitoring, WFT/DFT measurement, adhesion test, and coating defect inspection.
Able to read coating specifications, ITP, procedures, drawings, and technical datasheet.
Able to prepare inspection reports and NCR.
Good communication and coordination skill with Client, Consultant and Internal Teams.
Good in English, particularly in understanding coating specifications, technical documents, work procedures, method statements, and inspection requirements.
Willing to work at Workshop Cikande.
