Role Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Sales & Marketing professional with a proven track record in growing membership programs to co-lead our team.

In this hybrid role, you will co-lead our marketing team alongside our current Head of Marketing and be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire 250 partners and 200 members within six months. You will have the autonomy to assess our current resources, optimize team efforts, and recommend additional needs to achieve these ambitious goals. While the initial focus is on our membership program, there is potential to expand your scope to other initiatives within Nomads Giving Back, such as our impact trips, depending on the brand’s success.

This role requires a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution. You will manage and mentor a team of four, including three junior-level Community Coordinators, while also taking the lead on high-level partnership discussions and sales efforts, particularly with larger venues. If you are a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and marketing, and you thrive in a fast-paced, community-driven environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to acquire 250 partners and 200 paying members for our membership program within six months.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, including the Head of Marketing and Community Coordinators, to optimize their contributions toward growth objectives.
  • Conduct high-level partnership discussions and sales pitches, particularly with larger venues to secure key deals.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine strategies and enhance the web app offering.
  • Collaborate with the team to strengthen social media presence and execute effective promotional campaigns.
  • Assess current resources and make strategic recommendations to ensure the team is equipped to meet targets.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress and challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partnersvenue owners and managers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of promotional materials to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
  • Deliverables & KPIs Acquire 250 partners in Bali for our membership program within six months.
  • Secure 200 active paying members for our membership program by the end of the six-month period.
  • Assess the current marketing team and resources to determine feasibility and make recommendations for achieving the targets.
  • Lead high-level partnership discussions and sales efforts, particularly with larger partners and venues.
  • Collaborate and provide feedback with the team to optimize outreach, social media, and promotional strategies.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing or scaling a membership program (e.g., subscription-based service, community membership, loyalty or rewards program, coworking space memberships, etc.)
  • Proven success in sales and marketing roles, with a strong record of hitting growth targets, particularly in membership or partnership acquisition.
  • Strategic thinker with mid-upper level experience in planning and executing membership growth campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team, ideally in a hybrid or remote work setting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia, especially for partnership discussions and sales pitches.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a focus on results and adaptability.
  • Extroverted personality with a passion for networking, building relationships, and engaging with partners, venue owners, and managers.
  • Familiarity with the Bali market, digital marketing tools, and community-driven initiatives is a plus.
  • Bonus: experience in creative, F&B, hospitality, or managing community spaces like coworking hubs.
