Job summary

SLB in Batam is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create programs for milling, verify setups, and drive process validation. You’ll analyze machining issues, implement corrective actions, and propose tooling and fixturing improvements to boost productivity and quality.

The role emphasizes training, continuous learning, and Lean manufacturing participation, with a focus on safety and adherence to industry standards. English proficiency is required. Located in Batam, Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Polytechnique in mechanical engineering.
• CNC programming experience min 3 years.
• Preferred experience at oil and gas company
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (such as Mastercam, Edgecam)
• Strong command of G-code and M-code programming
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and raw material properties
• Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines
• Ability to read and speak English
