Job description

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Club Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our premium Chinese cuisine restaurant and recreation club.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F&B and club management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering top-tier customer experiences.

Work Location: 5-minute walk from Clarke Quay MRT station

Start Date: February 2025

Responsibilities:

a) Operational Management

  1. Oversee daily operations to ensure the restaurant and club run efficiently and smoothly.
  2. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all areas.
  3. Manage inventory and procurement to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  4. Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational performance.

b) Staff Management

  1. Recruit, train, and manage staff, including servers, chefs, and front-of-house personnel.
  2. Develop and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing during all operating hours.
  3. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement staff development programs.
  4. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

c) Customer Service

  1. Ensure exceptional service quality to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  2. Address customer complaints and feedback promptly, taking proactive measures to improve satisfaction.
  3. Build strong relationships with customers, especially VIP members, by understanding and catering to their preferences.

d) Marketing and Sales

  1. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and events to attract patrons.
  2. Drive membership sales and retain existing members through engaging programs and personalized service.

e) Financial Oversight

  1. Monitor and manage budgets to maintain financial health and profitability.
  2. Analyze financial data and operational reports to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Work with the management team to set and achieve revenue and expense targets.

f) Menu and Event Planning

  1. Collaborate with the Head Chef to curate menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal trends.
  2. Organize and manage events such as private dining, corporate functions, and themed promotions.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant or club management.
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  3. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Familiarity with inventory control, cost management, and financial analysis.
  5. Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a high-end dining or club setting.
  6. Proficiency in English; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients.
  7. Outgoing personality, proactive attitude, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
