Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd seeks a Network/Security/Cloud Engineer to design and implement secure architectures across cloud and hybrid environments. You will configure connectivity between on‑premise and cloud platforms, supporting customer network integration and troubleshooting routers and firewalls.

The role requires hands-on cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), strong networking skills, and knowledge of security principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in Network, Security, or Cloud Engineering.
2 years of experience in Cloud engineering (AWS, GCP or Azure).
Strong foundation in networking (TCP/IP, routing, VPN, firewall, DNS).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with hybrid connectivity (Site-to-Site VPN, remote access).
Familiar with network devices (Mikrotik, Fortigate, Cisco, etc.).
Solid understanding of security principles (IAM, least privilege, segmentation).
Familiarity with ISO 27001/CIS Benchmark or similar.
Exposure to automation/Infrastructure as Code is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and implement secure network architectures across cloud and hybrid environments.
Configure connectivity between on-premise and cloud platforms (VPN, routing, NAT, firewall).
Support customer network integration including routers and firewalls (Fortigate, Cisco, Palo Alto, Mikrotik).
Implement security best practices across identity, network, and infrastructure layers.
Apply system and network hardening standards and baseline configurations.
Troubleshoot network and security issues (connectivity, access control, traffic).
Set up monitoring and logging for visibility, performance, and security.
Participate in project delivery (migration, modernization, deployment) ensuring stable infrastructure.
Contribute to internal standards, governance, and security best practices.
Support technical discussions and contribute to solution design and pre-sales.
