Job summary

Lintasarta is seeking a hands-on Data Center Infrastructure Technician to install and maintain critical IT equipment, including servers, switches, firewalls, and storage. You will manage cabling, labeling, and rack configurations to meet Data Center standards.

The role requires practical Linux skills, basic networking knowledge, and experience with hardware management tools (BMC/iDRAC/iLO/IPMI). On-site work and shift coverage are expected, with exposure to container platforms like

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems, including basic commands, service management, log analysis, and file navigation.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts, including VLANs, switching, IP addressing, and structured cabling.
• Familiarity with server hardware and out-of-band management tools such as BMC, iDRAC, iLO, or IPMI.
• Experience with structured cabling and rack cable management.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willing to work on-site and follow production support shift schedules.
• Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP), Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP/RH-OVE), or other container-based platforms.
• Experience or exposure to GPU-based server infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove IT equipment including servers, switches, firewalls, storage, racks, and cabling.
• Execute cable routing, dressing, and labeling per Data Center standards.
• Perform hardware replacement and first-level troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.
• Monitor health and performance of infrastructure hardware, virtualization platforms, and supporting systems.
• Respond to hardware and software incidents and restore services within the SLA.
• Execute infrastructure changes, including hardware installations, upgrades, replacements, and configuration modifications per approved change requests.
