About the Role

As a Cloud Data Architect, you will help design and develop scalable, reliable and maintainable systems for our products and solutions. You will accelerate delivery time to value and drive rapid digital experiences.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar field (preferred).
• Extensive experience with Cloud Data Warehouse technologies and complex data architecture and models.
• Designing large-volume real-time data stream architectures and component services.
• Proficiency in AWS, GCP or Azure core technologies.
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, Apache Kafka, or Apache Spark (an advantage).
• Background in scaling and improving a variety of open-source technologies.
• Strong communication and listening skills, collaborating across development, infrastructure, business, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership and design for data, warehouse, cloud, infrastructure initiatives and cloud data migration strategies.
• Develop high-volume data ingestion components and ETL solutions for internal and external sources.
• Recommend data governance processes, security standards, and models that support development initiatives.
• Drive decision-making to align with business priorities and key architecture solutions.
• Design a roadmap for cloud migration strategy.
• Collaborate closely with developers to implement application code, data integration, data modeling, and analytics.
