Position Overview

RecruitGo is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Closeout Sourcing Agent to join our team. As a Closeout Sourcing Agent, you will be responsible for identifying and procuring closeout suppliers from various sources. Your main goal will be to source high-quality closeout products from suitable suppliers.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify Closeout Opportunities: Research and identify potential closeout suppliers from various sources such as vendors, manufacturers, wholesalers, and liquidators.
2. Supplier Evaluation: Assess the quality, condition, and marketability of suppliers to determine suitability for our database.
3. Coordination: Collaborate with relevant internal teams, including prospection and purchasing department.
4. Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with closeout sourcing, such as poor quality and counterfeit products.
5. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify emerging closeout opportunities and potential niche markets.
6. Forecasting and Planning: Analyze purchasing data, customer demand, and historical trends to forecast future closeout needs and develop proactive procurement strategies.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, supplier contacts, purchase orders, and relevant documentation. Generate regular reports on closeout procurement performance and share insights with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Previous Experience: Proven experience as a Sourcing Agent, preferably with a focus on closeout merchandise. Familiarity with the retail industry and knowledge of sourcing practices is advantageous.
2. Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical skills to evaluate product quality, market demand, and potential profitability of closeout merchandise.
3. Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation, quality assurance, and risk mitigation.
4. Time Management: Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple sourcing projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
5. Market Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry dynamics to identify lucrative suppliers.
6. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and find practical solutions to ensure efficient sourcing.
7. Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using common office software and sourcing tools, and all web possibilities.
8. A good level of English (B1).
