Job summary

Konservasi Indonesia seeks an Aquaculture Specialist to lead the Climate Smart Shrimp Program in Indonesia. You will oversee project planning, implementation, monitoring, and scaling of pilot efforts, while engaging government, producers, financiers, and partners to advance sustainable aquaculture and climate resilience.

You will coordinate donors, prepare technical reports, and contribute to strategy development and replication across geographies, working closely with CI’s global teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (master’s or higher) in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience managing complex multi-stakeholder projects.
• Demonstrated project management experience including budgeting, implementation, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Climate Smart Shrimp Program in Indonesia, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Develop, monitor, and scale pilot projects, including farm modernization and mangrove restoration.
• Support the Climate Smart Shrimp Fund development and investment readiness activities.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government, producers, financial institutions, NGOs, and communities.
• Coordinate data collection, MEL activities, and donor communications to measure outcomes.
