Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) in Singapore seeks a lead manager to develop and grow Privilege client relationships, delivering financial advisory services and tailored investment solutions to affluent clients with strong growth in various market segments.

You will provide timely information and recommendations, build long-term relationships, and ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Recognized university degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience; banking/financial services background is advantageous.
• Strong advisory skills with wealth management & investment product knowledge.
• Candidates with AML/KYC knowledge in retail banking preferred.
• Self-motivated with strong sales drive and energy.
• Possess relevant accreditation (M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI).

Job Description

You will be part of a group of highly trained financial professionals. You will be trained in the UOB Privilege Client Engagement Process and be our lead manager in developing and growing our Privilege client relationships. You will be required to provide financial advisory services as well as appropriate financial and investment solutions and advice to our affluent and high networth clients in various market segments. You will provide customers with timely information, advice and recommendations to fit their requirements. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with your clients is a key factor for success in this role.

• To provide financial advisory services as well as appropriate financial and investment solutions and advice to our affluent and high networth clients for various market segments.

• Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation while adhering to the Bank's internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements (i.e. FAA and other related statutory Acts)

Job Requirements

• A recognized university degree.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience. While candidates with prior experience in banking/financial services are advantageous, we also welcome individuals from other industries who possess strong interpersonal skills to apply.
• Strong advisory skill and possess with good product knowledge of wealth management & investment products.
• Candidates with prior experience and knowledge in AML/KYC processes within the retail banking sector are preferred.
• Self-motivated, with strong sales drive & energy.
