Job summary

McDermott Indonesia in Batam seeks a Civil Engineer to apply theoretical knowledge to solving basic civil problems under guidance. You will perform FEED, studies and detailed design tasks, preparing calculations and reports while coordinating with other disciplines and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree with 3–8 years in oil & gas, is fluent in English, and eager to learn. This role offers growth within a global energy provider and challenging projects.

Qualifications

• Essential engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) required.
• 3–8 years of oil & gas experience with a major contractor or consultant.
• Registered Engineer in Training or professional society membership preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to project needs.
• Working knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform FEED, studies and detailed design engineering tasks.
• Prepare design calculations, analyses, reports and procedures.
• Coordinate with disciplines and interface inputs for designs.
• Ensure work is completed to budgets and deadlines.
• Assist in subcontract documentation and bid evaluations.
