Job Description

Get to know the Role:

As a City Sales Lead, you will supervise the operational day-to-day activities in the area. Your team will be acquiring F&B merchants and supporting the growth of merchants' businesses in GrabFood. You will act as a business consultant for merchants to maximize their potential. The role is based onsite at Grab Padang office and reports directly to the City Sales Manager. This is a contract position.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  1. Handle, control, and monitor all sales activities, including creating mapping, call plans, role plays, and reporting team performance.
  2. Take ownership of city performance, focusing on merchant selection (pareto principle) and merchant business growth.
  3. Maintain top merchant partner GMV and execute action plans to drive GMV growth by evaluating store content and promotional activities.
  4. Lead meetings with top merchants to ensure strong relationships and resolve business obstacles, aligning with the company's long-term goals.
  5. Ensure the achievement of target participant outlets/brands according to the assigned portfolio.
  6. Collaborate with Strategy & Planning team on ongoing and upcoming campaigns, including hitlist, segmentation, and adding merchants to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  7. Coordinate with Marketing team on all marketing campaigns and projects, including asset utilization.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  1. At least 2 years of experience leading a sales team, with experience managing end-to-end sales cycles.
  2. Proficiency in analytics and familiarity with tools that help analyze data sets.
  3. Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, presenting ideas and suggestions clearly and succinctly.
  4. Fluent in both Bahasa and English.
  5. Passion for the on-demand delivery space, especially food delivery.
  6. Comfortable working with a laptop and internet.
  7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
