Job Description
- Developing and executing the company's technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in fintech, cloud infrastructure, and security, and ensure we build for both resilience and relevance.
- Drive a culture of engineering excellence, balancing speed with stability.
- Represent tech at the leadership level - working closely with Product, Operations, and Commercial teams to drive strategic initiatives.
- Own and optimize engineering processes: sprint planning, delivery timelines, risk mitigation, and resource allocation
The Successful Applicant
A successful Chief Technology Officer should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong leadership experience in the technology especially fintech, payments and high regulated industries.
- Proven track record building and scaling secure, production-grade systems with high uptime and performance.
- Deep experience in system architecture, Golang development, cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, access controls, and compliance standards (e.g. PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, etc)
- A player-coach mindset: strategic in thinking, but not afraid to dive deep when needed.
