Job description

Wolkk is currently looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join a rapidly growing AI product platform. The ideal candidate will play a key role in architecting and scaling the Agentic AI stack, leading the development of our flagship product KJ, and overseeing a world-class engineering team. The mission is to use AI to unleash human expertise, and the CTO will help drive the evolution of our AI super-agent platform to create real enterprise outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architect & Scale the AI Stack: Design and scale the Native Agentic AI stack, including LLM orchestration, multi-agent frameworks, LangChain pipelines, vector stores, semantic graphs, action frameworks, and adaptive conversational apps.
2. Build & Lead Engineering Team: Lead the recruitment, development, and management of a world-class engineering team, shaping the future of the company's technology and scaling the platform to handle thousands of enterprise decisions per day.
3. Product Development: Own the architecture of the AI product (KJ), ensuring it delivers real business outcomes and building systems that scale efficiently to meet the needs of global enterprise clients.
4. Drive Innovation: Lead the development of a product that revolutionizes enterprise decision-making with conversational AI, focusing on privacy, accuracy, and speed.
5. Strategy & Leadership: Help set the foundation for a company that is reinventing how decisions happen, setting a vision for scalable infrastructure, conversational interfaces, and innovative technology.
6. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams across the globe to design and implement solutions that meet the strategic needs of enterprise clients.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Engineering & Architecture: 10–15 years of engineering and architecture experience, with experience in both early-stage (0→1) and scaling phases.
2. AI & LLM Expertise: Deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), agent systems, vector databases, and semantic pipelines.
3. Hands-On Development: Ability to code and build scalable infrastructure while obsessing over performance, privacy, and speed.
4. Leadership: Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
5. Strong Academic Background: Ideally from top universities (e.g., Stanford, MIT, Berkeley) or equivalent experience in AI.
6. AI Product Experience: Previous experience at AI-focused companies such as OpenAI, DeepMind, Anthropic, or other leading AI organizations.
7. Visionary: An individual who understands the importance of speed, privacy, and accuracy in AI-driven systems and is obsessed with the potential of conversational UI.
