Our client is a Jakarta-based holding entity overseeing multiple business lines. Currently, one of its subsidiaries is seeking a senior-level Project Manager with strong experience in software product delivery to take on a Chief Level operational role.

The company is a technology and software development company providing IT resource placement, web and mobile app development, enterprise systems, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and AI. The company also operates an academy for IT bootcamps and tech upskilling, supporting businesses and individuals in digital transformation.

Role Overview

This is a career-defining opportunity for a senior Sales & Marketing Manager, Business Development Lead, or Commercial Head who is ready to step into a Chief Level leadership position in the fast-growing software and digital solutions industry, sitting on a strategic seat, while directing and guiding the team, managing sales, marketing, ensuring the products gain traction in competitive markets.

The CSMO will lead the company’s commercial function, responsible for designing and executing strategies to achieve growth targets, including retaining clients, through both direct sales and consultative selling. This role requires balancing hunting and farming activities, driving client acquisition, retention, and overall sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategies for both project-based and product-based sales.
  • Lead hunting and farming activities, ensuring growth in new client acquisition and retention.
  • Drive the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, proposals, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Promote and grow adoption of the company's products: HRIS, ERP, Sales Tracking, WMS.
  • Benchmark the company's offering against leading players (Mekari, Quinos, Moka, Accurate, Jurnal).
  • Ensure sales efforts align with delivery capacity and client success metrics.

Marketing & Branding: Lead marketing initiatives to strengthen the company's visibility and brand positioning.

  • Manage creative design resources (videographer & editor) to produce impactful sales and marketing content.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all client-facing and promotional channels.
  • Oversee and coach sales canvassers (revenue-sharing scheme), admin staff, and design team.
  • Build a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and incentives.

Revenue Enablement: Collaborate with CEO and CTO to align commercial objectives with operational and technical capabilities.

Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field preferred.
  • Having adequate proficiency in English to read through documents, making reports, writing emails, etc.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in sales & marketing leadership.
  • Experienced promoting and selling software solutions or SaaS.
  • Proven record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Understanding of enterprise systems, SaaS, and digital transformation tools.
  • Client relationship management, negotiation, strategic planning, team leadership.
  • Strong commercial mindset, resilience, ability to balance short-term wins with long-term growth.
