Job summary

Kreatific Global in Indonesia seeks a Head of Research and Intelligence to lead its research division and advance the development of creative industries. This senior leader will shape the research agenda, oversee methodologies, and guide publication portfolios to inform policy and investment decisions.

The role requires leading multidisciplinary teams, producing high-quality outputs, and translating complex findings into actionable insights for public, private, and institutional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• PhD preferred in economics, public policy, development studies, social sciences, cultural economics or related fields.
• Master's degree with strong research credentials may be considered.
• At least five years of relevant research experience with leadership exposure.
• Substantive research in creative industries, cultural policy, or related fields.
• Strong portfolio of outputs: publications, policy reports, sector studies.
• Advanced knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods and data synthesis.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent English; Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Kreatific Global's research agenda across creative industries, cultural sectors, and policy.
• Lead qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research, including international studies.
• Produce and oversee research papers, white papers, policy briefs, and industry reports.
• Lead sector mapping, economic analysis, institutional assessments, and policy research.
• Develop analytical frameworks, tools, indicators, and methodologies.
• Supervise and mentor researchers while maintaining high quality and integrity.
• Build collaborations with universities, government bodies, think tanks, and industry groups.
• Translate findings into evidence-based recommendations for policy and investment.
