Job summary

Dorsch Global is seeking a Chief Overhead Catenary System Supervision expert to lead technical review and field oversight from construction through final commissioning. You will supervise installation, review interfaces, enforce safety, and verify geometry against specs.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and have about five years of relevant experience, including knowledge of European Railway Standards and strong English ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field.
• Experience working with railway standards is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English at CEFR B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation and tensioning of the OCS to ensure precision.

Chief Overhead Catenary System Supervision

The Chief Overhead Catenary System (OCS) Supervision is responsible for the technical review and field oversight of catenary installation and infrastructure. This role is involved starting from the construction phase to ensures that all physical works and installation are complied with technical standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the installation and tensioning of the OCS to ensure precision and adherence to engineering tolerances.

Review the interface and configuration management utilized to ensure technical compatibility across system components

Monitor contractor adherence to safety protocols during high-altitude and high-voltage installation work.

Verify that the final OCS geometry meets dynamic performance requirements for train operations.

Establish and verify safety protocols for high-voltage workshop environments and the handling of hazardous materials during the supervision phase

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related Engineering Field

Experience

5 Years of Experience in Task-Related Fields

Experience working with European Railway Standards is Advantage

TOEFL >= 70 / IELTS >=6.0 / TOEIC >= 750 / CEFR: B2 or better
