Job summary

Arta Intra Teknologi (AIT) is seeking a seasoned Head of Legal, Compliance and Government Relations to lead the function across Indonesia. The role requires shaping strategic legal and regulatory frameworks, advising management on corporate decisions, and guiding complex transactions.

You will oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, coordinate with regulators, and build a high-performance team to safeguard the company’s interests in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in legal/compliance with leadership experience.
• Experience in litigation, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
• Experience engaging with government regulators and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Legal, Compliance, and Government Relations functions.
• Develop and implement legal strategies, compliance frameworks, and policies.
• Establish Government Relations structure, engagement strategy, and processes.
• Represent the company with regulators, agencies, and industry bodies.
• Provide strategic legal advice on corporate matters and risk management.
• Oversee negotiation and execution of commercial and partnership agreements.
• Manage corporate governance, company secretarial, IP, M&A, and related matters.
• Lead litigation and dispute resolution, coordinating with external counsel.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory and compliance risks affecting operations.
• Monitor legal changes and ensure timely regulatory responses.
• Lead training on governance, ethics, and regulatory obligations.
• Oversee contract management, regulatory reporting, and record-keeping.
• Lead and grow the Legal, Compliance, and Government Relations teams.
