Description
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a new business line focused on renewable energy, specifically in biomass, methane, and hydrogen technologies. This is a rare opportunity to build and scale an early-stage venture that aligns with national and global goals for clean energy and climate resilience.

You will be responsible for building the organization’s roadmap, securing partnerships and capital, leading technological innovation, and ensuring operational and financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the strategic vision and operational execution of the company’s biomass-to-hydrogen energy business.
2. Define and implement long-term business strategies to drive profitability and sustainable growth.
3. Oversee company finances, including budgeting, investments, and performance monitoring.
4. Guide digital transformation, organizational development, and innovation initiatives.
5. Analyze industry trends, disruptive technologies, and regulatory shifts.
6. Drive fundraising, partnerships, and M&A to enable business scaling and market entry.
7. Represent the company in high-level engagements with investors, government, and industry leaders.
8. Foster a strong corporate culture focused on accountability, innovation, and sustainability.

Profile
To succeed in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
2. 8+ years of executive leadership experience, preferably within renewable energy, green tech, or a fast-growing early-stage environment.
3. Expertise in biomass, hydrogen, methane, or broader sustainable energy sectors.
4. Deep technical knowledge of gasification, pyrolysis, electrolysis, or other biomass-to-hydrogen processes.
5. Proven ability to lead in lean, entrepreneurial environments and independently manage multi-functional teams.
6. Strong business acumen across finance, marketing, HR, and risk management.
7. Excellent skills in market analysis, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making.
8. Extensive network across investors, regulators, and business partners in energy and sustainability sectors.
9. Strong leadership and change management skills with the ability to inspire and influence diverse teams.
10. Willingness to travel and engage in regional or international business development.
