Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the fertilizer division, driving innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. This strategic role requires deep technical knowledge of fertilizer production (especially waste-to-fertilizer transformation), paired with strong business development, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of innovative and cost-effective fertilizer solutions with a strong market fit.
- Define and execute long-term business strategies to drive profitability and growth.
- Oversee company operations and financials, including budgeting, investments, and performance optimization.
- Spearhead change management, digital transformation, and business model innovation.
- Analyze market trends, disruptive technologies, and policy shifts to ensure strategic alignment.
- Lead fundraising and M&A initiatives to support expansion and strengthen market positioning.
- Build and promote a value-driven, performance-oriented corporate culture.
- Represent the company in external partnerships, government relations, and investor discussions.
Profile
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of senior leadership experience, ideally in business development and early-stage environments.
- Proven track record of independently managing operations, especially in startups or lean structures.
- In-depth knowledge of fertilizer or organic fertilizer products, including technical sourcing and production processes.
- Experience in sourcing waste materials for waste-to-fertilizer conversion.
- Strong B2B customer base experience in industries like reclamation, mining, and palm plantations.
- Demonstrated strategic vision and ability to build competitive advantages in emerging markets.
- Exceptional leadership and cross-functional management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of finance, marketing, HR, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Established network across investors, regulators, and key industry stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel and operate within dynamic business conditions.
