Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering; PE certification preferred.
• 5–7 years in engineering with at least 3 years in leadership roles in manufacturing or automation systems.
• Experience managing teams of engineers and technicians in a factory setting.
• Skilled in automation systems, PLC programming, and industrial control panels.
• Willingness to travel between plants and attend conferences.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily factory operations, planned preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues to reduce downtime.
• Oversee machinery and utilities, ensure reliability and energy efficiency, implement improvements to extend equipment life.
• Manage and mentor engineers and technicians, allocate tasks, monitor performance, and promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery; lead technical aspects of improvement or expansion projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, environmental, and regulatory standards; conduct risk assessments.
• Introduce systems and best practices to optimize operations, energy use, and maintenance costs.
• Coordinate with senior management and other departments; prepare performance and improvement reports.
