Job summary

A luxury resort in Indonesia is seeking a culinary professional responsible for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in hospitality management and 2-3 years of relevant experience in a 4 or 5 star establishment. This position is exclusively open to Indonesian nationals. Overview

Overlooking the scenic South China Sea, an hour away by ferry from Singapore, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon will introduce Swiss-inspired hospitality to Bintan in celebration of Mövenpick's rich culinary legacy. The resort is set to be the new beach getaway destination for all generations with standout facilities, including 420 rooms & suites, two golf courses, three lagoon swimming pools, unique restaurant concepts, a two-storey beach club, spacious event spaces. Wellness will also be an integral part of the resort experience, with a vast wellness and recreation village that will feature a gym, a spa, and Kid Club.

Responsibilities
  • Sets up for breakfast, lunch and dinner by ensuring proper amounts are in place for forecasted covers, special functions and all reservations
  • Supervise preparation and service all food items for a la carte and buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards
  • Maintain a working environment where creativity, continuous improvement, and constructive criticism are the standard
  • Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage
  • Adheres to Mövenpick standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation
Qualifications
