Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CDP in a restaurant, catering, or hotel kitchen.
  • Familiar with strict kitchen standard operating procedures.
  • Preferably has experience in Indonesian cuisine, especially Chinese dishes.

  • Ensure all dishes served meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Check ingredients, stock levels, and cleanliness of the work area daily.
  • Report ingredient or equipment needs to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards according to company procedures.
  • Assist in developing new menus or food products when required.
  • Provide basic training to new staff within their section.

Overview

Manage and supervise the kitchen team in the assigned section (commis and kitchen helpers).

Responsibilities

  • Check ingredients, stock levels, and cleanliness of the work area daily.
  • Report ingredient or equipment needs to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards according to company procedures.

Requirements
  • Minimum education: Senior High School or equivalent; Culinary School graduates preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CDP in a restaurant, catering, or hotel kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiar with strict kitchen standard operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
  • Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Preferably has experience or knowledge in Indonesian cuisine, especially Chinese dishes.
