Job description

The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the channel sales strategy, partnering with existing channel partners, developing new channels to provide compressed air solutions, and growing our channel sales revenue.

He/she will act as an interface between Ingersoll Rand and our distributors in Indonesia to drive strategic alignment and resolve outstanding challenges related to sales, service, and operations.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute channel sales strategies for Ingersoll Rand’s Industrial Technology & Services (ITS) compressed air solutions in Indonesia.
  2. Identify and develop new channel partners.
  3. Perform business analysis (e.g., SWOT) through collection of information from competition, distributors, customer buying behavior, potential market volume, current market share, and customer feedback.
  4. Achieve sales targets set for the area of responsibility and industries by building and maintaining close relationships with distributors and customers to solicit orders.
  5. Provide pre-sales technical assistance (including demonstrations and technical presentations), product training, and after-sales support to distributors and end-users.
  6. Report channel sales activities timely and accurately, and submit monthly reports on channel sales, lost orders, and competition.
  7. Attend trade shows, conferences, marketing events, and other industry-related activities.
  8. Work closely with supply chain management, sales support, project engineers, and the order fulfillment team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Channel sales experience with industrial products such as air compressors, dryers, or similar equipment is preferred.
  • Driving license and own vehicle.
