Nature and scope

The role reports directly to the Team Lead / Engineering Manager. The primary responsibilities include installing, testing, commissioning supply and enabling equipment, and maintaining and inspecting installations to meet Air Products and statutory requirements.

Performance is reviewed based on customer specifications, budgets, and key performance indicators. The role involves providing technical input into standards, codes of practice, and specifications from internal and external sources.

The job holder will be expected to:

• Provide technical expertise to solve problems and develop solutions within existing standards and legislative requirements.
• Execute decisions related to project execution, trials, and maintenance of installations.
• Report unsafe conditions of installations or systems to the Project Engineer.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all required documents.

Principal Accountabilities

• Perform piping and skid fabrication work and equipment installation.
• Repair leaks and defects in pressurized piping systems.
• Ensure customer station maintenance is completed according to schedule.
• Coordinate with lead technicians for customer call-outs, station maintenance, and project execution.
• Support project and maintenance activities.
• Supervise fieldwork and prepare field reports.
• Ensure workshop safety and cleanliness.
• Drive and care for company or personal vehicles within authorized use.
• Perform welding, brazing, motor, and pump servicing if qualified.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/A-levels with mechanical vocational training.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in digital devices and software such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Good knowledge of Pressure Systems Regulations and Indonesian regulations.
• Welding skills or electrical wiring experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites on short notice.
• Valid commercial driving license.
