About Category Manager

The role of a Furniture Category Manager involves overseeing and managing a specific category of furniture products within a company. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, product knowledge, and market understanding.

What You Will Do

Category Strategy Development

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for the furniture category, aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape within the furniture category.

Assortment Planning

  • Work closely with suppliers and product development teams to curate a diverse and appealing assortment of furniture products.
  • Ensure that the assortment meets customer needs and aligns with the brand image.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of furniture products, from introduction to retirement.
  • Monitor sales performance and recommend adjustments to the assortment based on market demand.

Market Research And Analysis
