Job description

  • Develop and execute category strategies, including pricing, promotions, range planning, and availability to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Optimize product assortment by addressing range gaps and ensuring high-quality, value-driven goods are available year-round.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns that enhance category visibility and performance.
  • Build and maintain a strong supplier network to negotiate cost improvements, advertising spend, and reliable delivery schedules
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers to strengthen partnerships and drive performance improvements.
  • Partner with supply chain teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Minimize wastage and shrinkage while ensuring consistent stock availability across dark stores.
  • Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to deliver strategic projects that align with business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in category management or sourcing within e-commerce, FMCG, or retail industries.
  • Proven track record in supplier negotiations and relationship management.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Knowledge of quick commerce operations is highly desirable.
