Job summary

Hilton Surabaya seeks a Security Supervisor to oversee daily hotel security operations and lead a team of security officers. You will ensure safety standards, respond to emergencies, and coordinate investigations while maintaining guest comfort and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's security team, leading and managing a team of security officers, ensuring they perform their duties effectively, maintain security standards, and respond to emergencies. As a Security Supervisor, and facilities - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Typical Day

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Conduct security patrols: Monitor interior and exterior hotel premises to identify and address safety and security risks, security threats, and undesirable conditions
• Support emergency responses: Coordinate responses to incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, and security threats
• Supervise and develop the team: Train, schedule, and supervise Security Guards/Officers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
• Investigate incidents: Conduct preliminary incident investigations to gather relevant information, document findings, and ensure accurate reporting of security incidents
• Promote workplace safety: Encourage adherence to safety protocols and best practices among team members
• Provide security back up: Step in to fulfill security officer responsibilities as required
• Guest & Staff Safety: Enforce safety measures, manage access control, and handle guest concerns discreetly and professionally.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Conduct audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and update security policies to address emerging risks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience in a security supervisory or leadership role, preferably in hospitality
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• In‑depth knowledge of security operations and emergency protocols
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and security operations preferred
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
