Job Purpose

Supervise and ensure all work in the capsule making process area, from the capsule shell solution preparation to the capsule rack charging machine and ethanol refinery facility, is carried out properly and runs smoothly. Responsible for managing the work of operators and workers in each shift, ensuring the availability of material for the production process, controlling the production process and results in terms of quality and quantity.

Job Description

1. Making employee schedules according to what is needed to realize the production schedule.
2. Plan and implement training plans for new operators and workers.
3. Verify operator and operational worker attendance and overtime.
4. Ensure the readiness of raw material for the recipe to be produced.
5. Ensure machine readiness for the smooth production process.
6. Ensure that the production process runs well according to the production schedule and capsule quality & production standards.
7. Check compliance with physical properties (capsule crushing strength) standards of initial production products and adjust membrane material flow rate when necessary.
8. Check the product work order and equipment cleaning status to prevent product mixing when replacing products.
9. Check whether the operator’s checklist and work log sheets are appropriate.
10. Make a daily shift work log (machine efficiency, performance, yield, loss, issues).
11. On-site dissemination of office instructions.
12. Ensure 5S and work safety in the working place.
13. Any other tasks requested by team leader and HQ.

Work in an air-conditioned production area. Working time is 2 shifts or 3 shifts or 3 shifts/4 rounds. Works 8 hours a day (actual start and end times may vary depending on shift operation plan). Work in a workplace with a variety of scents.

Skill & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering, management, quality, or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in production process and management of manufacturing industry or equivalent.
3. Good communication skills, leadership, customer orientation, honesty, willingness to work overtime, willingness to work in shifts, teamwork.
4. Works well with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
5. Understanding of ERP, MES, WMS, LIMS (QC) System.
