Fitrah Islamic World Academy (FIWA) in Bogor invites a dedicated Mathematics educator to join our Islamic international boarding school. You will plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the curriculum, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving among students.

Fresh graduates are welcome; a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education with a minimum GPA of 3.00 is required. Proficiency in English and a Muslimah applicant under 30 are preferred aspects of the profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Education required or fresh graduates welcome.
• GPA of 3.00 (Scale 4.00) preferred.
• Akhwat (Muslimah) and age max 30.
• Preferably good English communication skills (speaking and writing).

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in mathematics aligned with the school curriculum.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills in students.
• Design lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and ensure learning outcomes are achieved.
• Continuously review and adjust lesson plans based on student progress and curriculum requirements.
• Participate in curriculum improvement and departmental planning.
• Design and administer tests, quizzes, and other assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.
• Offer additional support to students who require extra help with mathematics.
• Encourage student participation and engagement through individual and group activities.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
• Attend workshops, training, and other professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share teaching strategies and improve the learning environment
• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Implement and enforce school policies and procedures.
• Requirements:
• Akhwat (Muslimah).
• Maximum age of 30 years old.
• Minimum education Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education (Fresh graduates are welcome).
• Minimum GPA of 3.00 (Scale 4.00).
• Preferably accustomed to teaching in English both orally and in writing.
• Preferably has experience in teaching Cambridge Mathematics or UTBK-SNBT.
• Possesses the spirit and character of a good educator.
