PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a detail‑oriented CAD Drawer to support construction projects in Jakarta. The role focuses on preparing, revising, and managing technical drawings for MEP and civil/structural works using AutoCAD, aligned with BIM models and on‑site conditions.

You will collaborate with engineering, BIM, and construction teams, perform periodic site visits, and ensure drawings reflect the latest approved versions for accurate installation and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum SMK/SMA or Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in CAD drafting or technical drawing in construction/MEP projects.
• Hands‑on experience preparing MEP and civil/structural drawings using AutoCAD (floor plans, sections, system schematics, shop drawings).
• Experience managing drawing revisions, document registers, version control, and distribution.
• Familiarity with coordinating drawing updates with engineering, BIM, and construction teams.
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency (layers, blocks, layouts, plotting, standards).
• Understanding of MEP systems (MEP, HVAC, fire protection) and civil/structural drawings.
• Proficiency in Excel for drawing registers; BIM workflows are a plus.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills; basic to intermediate English; reading Chinese drawings is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare MEP and civil/structural drawings using AutoCAD (plans, sections, schematics, details).
• Develop shop drawings for reserved openings, embedded components, and supports for accurate on‑site installation.
• Revise drawings based on design changes and site conditions; maintain revision history.
• Maintain drawing registers with numbers, revisions, dates, and distribution.
• Coordinate printing, distribution, retrieval, and document control for latest versions.
• Interpret schematics and details to support construction and installation requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, BIM, and site teams to resolve discrepancies and RFIs.
• Prepare as‑built drawings reflecting site modifications.
• Organize final drawings and documentation for project handover.
• Conduct periodic site visits to verify drawing requirements and coordination.

Through technical drawing preparation, construction coordination, and project documentation, the company ensures that engineering designs are translated into practical site requirements.

With project assignments across Jakarta, Cikarang, Karawang, Batam, and Surabaya, the company is strengthening its technical design and engineering capabilities and seeks a detail-oriented CAD Drawer to support ongoing construction projects.

Job Role

The CAD Drawer will be responsible for preparing, revising, and managing technical construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for MEP and civil/structural projects. Using AutoCAD, the role ensures that drawings are accurate, construction-ready, and aligned with engineering designs, BIM models, and actual site conditions.

Based at the company's PIK office, the successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, BIM, and construction teams to maintain drawing accuracy, manage document revisions, and support project execution. The role also involves periodic site visits to clarify technical details, coordinate drawing updates, and ensure construction teams consistently use the latest approved drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP and civil/structural floor plans, sections, system schematics, and detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop shop drawings for reserved openings, embedded components, sleeve positioning, supports, and hanger layouts to support accurate on-site installation.
• Revise technical drawings based on design modifications, engineering instructions, and actual site conditions while maintaining proper revision records.
• Maintain drawing registers, including drawing numbers, revision versions, issuance dates, and distribution records, to ensure document traceability.
• Coordinate drawing printing, distribution, retrieval, and document control to ensure construction teams use the latest approved versions.
• Interpret system schematics, connection details, technical symbols, and enlarged drawings to support construction and installation requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, BIM, and site teams to resolve drawing discrepancies, respond to technical clarification requests, and support Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Prepare and update as‑built drawings to reflect actual construction conditions and approved site modifications.
• Organize final drawings and technical documentation for project completion and handover.
• Conduct periodic project site visits to verify drawing requirements, support technical coordination, and address drawing-related issues.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum SMK/SMA or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction, or a related field. Relevant technical certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in CAD drafting or technical drawing preparation within construction, engineering, or MEP projects.
• Hands‑on experience preparing MEP and civil/structural construction drawings using AutoCAD, including floor plans, sections, system schematics, and shop drawings.
• Experience managing drawing revisions, document registers, version control, and drawing distribution throughout construction projects.
• Familiarity with coordinating drawing updates, site modifications, and as‑built documentation with engineering, BIM, and construction teams.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, including layers, blocks, layouts, plotting scales, drawing standards, and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection, as well as civil/structural drawings and installation details.
• Knowledge of technical drawing standards, including elevations, coordinates, grid lines, title blocks, layouts, and plotting specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for drawing registers and PDF markup tools; familiarity with BIM-based drawing and documentation workflows is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and patience when managing repetitive drawing revisions and multiple project iterations.
• Good understanding of drawing version control and the importance of preventing obsolete drawings from being used on construction sites.
• Effective communication, technical coordination, and problem‑solving skills when working with engineering, BIM, and construction teams.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency for business communication, technical coordination, and project documentation.
• Ability to read Chinese technical drawings and engineering documentation is an advantage.
