Job summary

PT.KMU Konstruksi Indonesia is seeking a skilled Drafter Engineering for a contract role based in Bekasi, West Java. You will interpret drawings, prepare detailed construction plans, and produce shop drawings using CAD software to support project teams.

As part of the design and construction effort, you will ensure plans comply with building codes, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and maintain accurate records of all drawings while addressing on-site technical queries.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a drafter or CAD technician in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex technical information.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with the project team.
• Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to produce detailed construction plans and shop drawings.
• Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Using CAD software to create 2D and 3D models, technical illustrations, and presentations.
• Documenting design changes and maintaining up-to-date records of all project drawings.
• Providing support to the construction team by answering technical queries and resolving on-site issues.
• Ensuring all drafting work meets relevant building codes, industry standards, and company policies.
