Job Title: Buyer for Mechanical Components

Job Description
  1. Conduct weekly analyses and checks to ensure appropriate levels of inventory are maintained, including:
    1. Placing timely orders of materials and monitoring their delivery fulfillment.
    2. Performing administration such as raising POs, updating SAP of received orders, and following up on weekly backlog of orders.
    3. Monitoring potential shortages of materials, highlighting issues to management and production teams, and following up with suppliers about delivery schedules.
    4. Reducing excess inventory by monitoring slow-moving stocks, activating appropriate steps and systems to prevent overstock, and notifying suppliers about potential delays.
    5. Analyzing root causes of stock shortages/excess and working with suppliers to adjust supply schedules.
    6. Analyzing inventory levels and recommending safety stock levels to be included in SAP.
  2. Anticipate critical inventory volume changes due to dynamic production demands.
  3. Coordinate with Supply Chain and Purchasing teams regarding order lead times, minimum order quantities, supplier performance, delivery accuracy, and forecasting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
  • At least 3 years of inventory management experience with raw materials in an electrical/electronic manufacturing environment, preferably in a Buyer, Material Planner, or Supply Chain role.
  • Skills in procurement management, order scheduling, manufacturing processes, and short-term order planning.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (PP and MM modules).
  • Proven ability to multi-task and drive outcomes.
  • Customer service and quality-oriented mindset.
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
  • Willing to be based in Cikarang (West Java).
