The Impact You’ll Make

The Office of Digital Transformation at Lam Research is responsible for creating next-generation business processes and accelerating technology adoption across the company. The Digital Transformation, Senior BSA for Knowledge Management, offers a unique opportunity to transform a market-leading semiconductor company to scale for growth during a pivotal time in our industry.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead the design and development of a knowledge strategy & framework aligned with Digital Transformation principles & business strategy.
2. Transform how Lam uses digital tools and systems to enable operations, providing employees & customers with better tools and data for maximum efficiency.
3. Partner to lead transformation projects, collaborating with cross-functional/technical teams, business units, and external vendors as needed.
4. Drive implementation of new systems, define strategies for existing systems, and communicate gaps effectively.
5. Ensure functional changes are captured according to Lam standards and that deliverables meet quality expectations.
6. Capture business processes, requirements, solution designs, and support UAT as needed.
7. Re-imagine processes and protocols for storing, accessing, and controlling information, and capturing new knowledge.
8. Identify and recommend top Knowledge Management tools to harness cross-functional data.
9. Advocate for KM and standard approaches across teams and locations.
10. Collaborate to ensure enterprise technology reflects knowledge flow processes and integrates KM activities into digital platforms.
11. Support platform and vendor selection to enhance customer value.
12. Develop business cases, conduct research and data analysis, and provide data to support solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or master’s preferred.
• 15+ years’ experience supporting enterprise applications as a technology partner for business.
• 8+ years proven experience in Knowledge Management, including systems/tools knowledge and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience implementing global KM strategies and platforms for high-growth companies, especially in manufacturing.
• Experience leading requirements, solutions, and UAT processes with business and development teams.
• Understanding industry best practices and their application.
• Proficient in KM systems implementation and development lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of cloud vs. on-prem platforms.
• Experience managing KM transformations and technical solutions like Content Management Systems, Customer Portals, and Search technology.
• Experience with platform/vendor selection and identity management solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consulting and high-growth, complex companies.
• Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning concepts and applications.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Proficient in PowerPoint; familiar with Scrum or waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with reporting solutions.
