Business System Analyst

One of our clients is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business System Analyst to join our client team in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, system design, and project management to facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and IT teams.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Create detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Develop a solution using internal tools.
• Partner with developers to design, test, and implement new systems or system changes.
• Develop and recommend innovative solutions to optimize workflows.
• Ensure solutions meet user requirements and business goals.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including system requirements, process flows, and user guides.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University in computer science, information technology, or information systems.
• At least 3 years of experience in complex system implementation, including project planning & tracking, requirement gathering, impact assessment & analysis, translating business/finance requirements to system logic, testing, & documentation.
• Basic understanding of programming logic to liaise with engineering counterparts.
• Ability to read code to investigate bugs or identify changes needed in a project.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• English proficiency is a must, both in written and verbal communication.
• Experience with a technology company, startup, or consulting is desired.
• Must understand common technology for custom and packaged applications.
• Knowledgeable in financial reporting and accounting practices is a plus.
• Experience with financial audit is a plus.
