Sprout is growing and seeking a Business & Strategic Development Lead to join our team in Jakarta and Surabaya. You'll play a hands-on role in building future companies from inception to completion, getting them ready for the next phase: investor presentations. You'll be deeply involved in the entire venture creation process, contributing significantly to the success of the ventures you work on within a specialized team. As a Business & Strategic Development Lead, you will:
- Support the development and scaling of startups from their initial stages to commercial launch.
- Work collaboratively to understand existing problem statements, either with current teams or adding the some.
- Define product specifications and suitable revenue streams.
- Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them.
- Analyze market value chains, cost structures, and profit pools.
- Develop business models that deliver exceptional value to customers.
- Create and execute go-to-market plans.
- Build trust-based relationships with business partners to better serve the venture
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A degree in a technical or professional field (e.g., Business, or related disciplines) is advantageous.
- 2–4 years of relevant work experience in product management or as a business analyst.
- Candidates currently or previously enrolled in Graduate Trainee, Management Trainee, Graduate Management Associate, or Future Leaders’ Programs will be considered.
- Experience or involvement in the development of new products or evolving existing products.
- Experience or involvement in setting up and driving new business initiatives or projects.
- Hands-on experience in product management, team management, including roadmap planning, stakeholder engagement, and go-to-market strategy.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments.
- A track record of dealing constructively with uncertainty and failure, applying learnings to improve outcomes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
