Business Process Officer - Shipping & Logistics

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Process Manager to join our team in the shipping industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
2. Design and implement new business processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional Business Process Owner to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
4. Define and propose KPIs to Business Process Manager to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes and make necessary adjustments.
5. Provide recommendations to Process Owner for best practices to be implemented according to company policy and market trends.
6. Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, manuals, and procedures.
7. Provide training and support to staff on new processes and systems.
8. Engage with IT and Process Owner to deliver new systems and ensure implementation with the business team.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business process management.
10. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, IT or a related field.
2. Proven experience in business process management, preferably in the shipping and logistics industry.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in process mapping and modeling tools.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in the Shipping and Logistics Industry in Indonesia and worldwide.
2. Strong knowledge in Business Process and System Integration.
3. Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
