About The Role

Primary Responsibilities

Data Management And Analysis

• Lead the Data Analyst Executive in gathering, processing, and analyzing data from various sources within the palm oil industry.
• Develop and implement data models and analytical tools to interpret complex data sets.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to drive business strategies and operational improvements.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and validation processes.
• Lead Data-Driven Decision Making (DDD) across the organization using business intelligence and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and addressing discrepancies.
• Use statistical methods and BI tools to uncover insights and trends.
• Present findings and insights with recommended actions clearly to empower stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities and challenges to optimize processes through data analysis.
• Provide performance reports to senior management, the board, and investors.

People & Culture Management

• Collaborate with HR to gather insights on employee performance, engagement, and retention.
• Analyze workforce data to improve employee experience programs.
• Develop strategies to enhance workplace culture, satisfaction, and productivity.
• Oversee Employee Experience initiatives aligning with business objectives and standards.

Strategic Planning And Decision Support

• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor industry trends to inform strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain dashboards and reports on KPIs for stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of data insights with business goals through cross-functional collaboration.

Team Leadership And Development

• Supervise and mentor Data Analyst Officers and People & Culture Officers.
• Set performance goals, evaluate, and provide feedback.
• Promote continuous learning and industry best practices within the team.

Role of the Lead Business Insight

• Collect, mine, interpret, and forecast data to support business decisions.
• Track performance metrics for business and personnel.
• Develop dashboards for key metrics monitoring.
• Lead a large team of collaborators and contributors.
• Demonstrate leadership by building a high-performance team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields; Master’s preferred.

Experience

• At least 5 years in data analytics, BI, or HR analytics, preferably in agri-tech or palm oil industry.
• Experience in fast-paced industries like startups, FMCG, F&B, etc., is a plus.
• Familiarity with palm oil industry challenges is advantageous.
• Proven team management experience.

Knowledge/Skills
