Business Intelligence Analyst

This role is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights Generation

1. Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from multiple business functions, including sales, marketing, and operations.
2. Develop data models, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable business insights.
3. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks by leveraging data-driven methodologies.
4. Conduct ad-hoc and deep-dive analysis to support key business decisions.

Business Strategy & Intelligence

1. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate data into business strategies.
2. Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling to optimize business growth.
3. Monitor market trends and competitor performance to identify business opportunities.
4. Develop and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.

Data Visualization & Reporting

1. Create compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
2. Ensure reports are accurate, clear, and accessible to non-technical teams.
3. Present insights and recommendations to senior management in a concise and impactful manner.

Technology & Process Improvement

1. Optimize data collection, storage, and analysis processes to enhance efficiency.
2. Work with data engineers and IT teams to improve data infrastructure and system integration.
3. Stay updated with BI tools, analytics trends, and best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.

Key Competencies

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
2. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
3. Strong understanding of SQL, Python, or other data analysis languages.
4. Ability to translate data into strategic business insights.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data to stakeholders.
6. Attention to detail with a strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
3. Experience working with large datasets, data modeling, and statistical analysis.
4. Familiarity with BI reporting tools, data visualization techniques, and dashboard development.
5. Experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods industries is a plus.
6. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
