Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Data Business Development professional to help expand and manage our local data ecosystem in Indonesia or the Philippines, and to focus on identifying, developing, and monetizing data-driven opportunities.

This role bridges the gap between data strategy and commercial partnerships, ensuring that our data assets grow in scale, and can be turned into revenue, translating business needs into data solutions, while staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.

This role is a commercial and strategic role focused on sourcing the right data; translating business needs into data partnerships; driving revenue through data; helping the company localize and scale its lending and AI capabilities in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end business development efforts including partner outreach, negotiation, project execution, and ongoing account management.
  • Collaborate with global teams to identify and meet local data sourcing needs.
  • Build and manage relationships with data partners, suppliers, and third-party platforms, to provide strategic insights and feedback to improve data acquisition strategies.
  • Track and analyze industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory updates.
  • Ensure timely delivery and integration of data projects.
Job Requirements
  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in any major.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Financial Technology, Financial Services, or related industries, with expertise in leveraging data and analytics to drive growth opportunities.
  • English (professional fluency in spoken and written).
  • Understanding data trends and local market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with local data ecosystems, including telcos, credit bureaus, and alternative data providers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to coordinate across teams and cultures.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
